Parents are asked to screen children for any symptoms of Covid 19 daily before drop off and if children are feeling any symptoms we ask that parents keep them home. Any child who exhibits symptoms will be sent home from camp. A copy of the Toronto Public Health Sample Screening Form will be at the entrance of the studio.
Activities have been organised so that we only use items that can be easily cleaned and disinfected or are single use and disposed of at the end of the day/program. Each Participant will use the same yoga mat each day of camp. Disinfectant spray and wipe will be available for mats at all times. Bathrooms will be disinfected frequently throughout the day and at the end of the day.
Hand washing is essential especially before meals. Campers will be strongly encouraged to wash their hands upon entering the studio from the park, before all snacks and meals, after using the washroom, and when someone coughs or sneezes into their hands.
For those who would rather use hand sanitiser for the reasons listed above a 70-90% alcohol-based sanitiser will also be available. Also students are welcome to use it as needed throughout the day.
Participants will be reminded to avoid touching their face, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Campers will be reminded to cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or cough into their sleeve.
Since the camp is capped at 8 participants the mats will be spread out over the 500 square foot distance when doing yoga. Similarly only two people will sit at each side of a large square table to ensure adequate space between campers. Windows and doors will remain open to ensure air circulation.
A Mask will be available for those who would like to wear one while crafting or playing with others.
Stagger scheduling of arrivals/drop-off and departures/pick-up times to limit contact between participants from different groups. Drop off and pick-up occur outside the setting in a designated area to avoid congestion unless it is determined that there is a need for the parent/guardian to enter.
